When you've been holding everything for too long...

You've tried so hard.

You've read.

You've searched.

You've hoped.

And somehow you're still carrying so much.

You don't have to carry it alone.

A Place to Land

A Place to Land is a quiet, private space for parents who are carrying the weight of loving a struggling child.

It isn't another parenting programme.

It isn't therapy.

It isn't crisis support.

It's somewhere you can tell the truth.

Somewhere you don't have to hold everything together.

Somewhere to meet yourself again with compassion.

Everything is welcome here.

Everything is welcome.

The fear.

The guilt.

The anger.

The confusion.

The hope.

Nothing is too much.

Nothing is too little.

Everything is welcome.

What happens when you join?

You don't have to prepare.

You don't need to tell your whole story all at once.

You simply arrive.

You'll receive a welcome email explaining everything you need to know.

You'll be invited into our private WhatsApp conversation.

From there, you write whenever something feels important.

Some days that might be a few sentences.

Some days it might be pages.

Some days you might simply say...

"Today feels hard."

I'll read your words carefully.

Rather than responding immediately, I'll spend time sitting with everything you've shared before writing back thoughtfully on my dedicated response days.

That rhythm creates space.

Space for your thoughts to settle.

Space for new understanding to emerge.

Space for us both to respond rather than react.

There is no pressure to write every day.

No expectation to have everything figured out.

You bring whatever is true.

We'll begin there.

My promise to you

If you choose to share this part of your life with me...

I'll read your words carefully.

I won't rush to respond.

I won't try to fix you.

Tiny breathing spaces make a huge difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often will I hear from you?

I won't usually respond immediately.

Instead, I'll spend time sitting with everything you've shared before replying thoughtfully on my dedicated response days.

I believe that giving your words time to settle often creates deeper understanding than reacting in the moment.

What if I don't know what to write?

That's absolutely okay.

Many parents arrive believing they need to organise their thoughts before they begin.

You don't.

One sentence is enough.

We'll begin wherever you are.

What if my child is in crisis?

A Place to Land isn't an emergency or crisis service.

If you believe your child or someone else is at immediate risk, please contact your local emergency services or crisis team straight away.

This space is here to support you alongside those services, not instead of them.

Do I have to write every day?

Not at all.

There is no expectation that you'll write every day.

Some parents write often because it helps them untangle what's happening. Others might only write once or twice between my response days.

This isn't about doing it "right."

It's about having somewhere to put down whatever feels true, whenever you need to.

How quickly will you respond?

Rather than replying immediately, I'll spend time sitting with everything you've shared before writing back thoughtfully on my dedicated response days.

That rhythm is intentional.

It gives both of us space to reflect, helping us respond rather than react.

If you ever need immediate support because you or your child are in crisis, A Place to Land isn't an emergency service, and I'd encourage you to contact the appropriate emergency or crisis services straight away.

What if I'm worried I'll say the wrong thing?

You don't need to edit yourself before you write to me.

You don't need to make your thoughts neat or coherent.

Sometimes the words that feel the hardest to say become the beginning of something important.

You can start exactly where you are.

Is this confidential?

Yes.

What you share with me remains private, except in the rare circumstance where I believe there is an immediate risk of serious harm to you or someone else.

If that situation ever arose, I'd always aim to speak with you first.

What if I miss a response day?

Nothing bad happens.

There's no falling behind.

Simply continue writing whenever you're ready, and I'll pick up from wherever you are.

A letter from me...

If you're reading these words, there's a good chance you've been carrying more than anyone realises.

I know something about that.

A Place to Land wasn't created because I wanted another business.

It was created because I kept meeting parents who had nowhere safe to put their own experience while everyone else's attention quite understandably rested on their child.

This is the space I wish every parent knew existed.

If it feels like somewhere you could exhale...

I'd love to welcome you.

Choose the journey that's right for you.
